Help! Credit rating problem :(

Hi,
Mortgage application was done through L&C with Halifax.
Unfortunately L&C made mistakes in our application - my house number was wrong, AND my NAME was spelt wrong! After loads of hassle, I managed to get the ADDRESS problem sorted after a week because Halifax only wanted to deal with the broker, and it was a pain to get that corrected!!!
Address problem sorted, but my name was mispelled! It was just an 'n' instead of 'm' and when I get in touch with Halifax today, I was told that because of change in name - my CREDIT RATING has GONE DOWN!!! I'm very disappointed with the service from L&C so far. All was due to their fault! Emails are never answered and phone calls only get into voicemail!!!!
I need to produce more document now according to Halifax. But I'm just worried what if the offer does not go through due to this mistakes? What can I DO to rectify this???
PLEASE HELP
