Yes these are the best candles you can buy. The scent is so intense and it doesn't loose it's strength. The variety is also amazing and they generally smell like they are supposed to. As you can tell I am a fan of yankee candles!0

i too am a fan
they are far superior than most candles
i dont like the tealights or votives though, they dont give off as much smell as a tart or medium or large jar (i dont waste my time with the small ones either)
buy a tart burner, with a large bowl, the larger the wax pool, the more scent is released
buy the votives if you can get them for £1 (same as a tart) and cut them in half, and use like a tart, 2 for the price of one, and will give off far more scent than burning as a candle0 -
Yankee Candles are soo much better than others available. Their smell is a lot stronger and there are lots of different scents available. I stock up when I visit America, for obvious reasons they're really quite cheap over there. I got a huge Clean Cotton jar (best smell!) for only $9, about £5.80!

I love Yankee Candles and have for many years and have also tried most other brands on the market and keep coming back to yankee. They are most definitely the most superior brand around (even beating brands that are over double the price of theirs) Yankee candles have the fragrance all the way through the candles from start to finish and also burn extremely well so you get to burn it right to the bottom and don't get that awful welling that a lot of candles seem to have. From a medium or large candle the whole house will smell of that fragrance and the small or votives will make just the whole room and also ajoining rooms on the same floor smell of that fragrance also plus they burn for an extremely long time (a votive will burn for between 12-15hrs and a large jar will burn for between 120-150hrs) TBH they are good value for money also. I have brought candles that look similar and are the same size and are about just over half the price and they only burn for about half the time plus don't burn right to the bottom and also have that awful welling and don't have even a quarter of the strength of fragrance as the Yankee Candles so TBH they were a total waste of money (that will teach me to buy cheaper candles that made out that they were as good as! Lol) Even the more expensive candles don't last or burn as well as Yankee Candles (although they do have as much fragrance! PHEW! Lol) Plus quite often I buy them when they are on sale or on QVC on a TSV or special offer or even from Yankee direct UK or yankee.co.uk when they have specials. I have a candle burning every day (from when I get home from work to when I go to sleep) as I find them very relaxing plus I love the fragrances. The most expensive candle I brought was a £70 (it was a present) and it didn't last as long as the Yankee Candle and welled/dipped a bit but did have as good a fragrance but TBH I wouldn't buy those candles again at that price (from a well known company that specialize in fragrances and are known also for their luxurious expensive candles that smell of their perfume) it was a nice treat But TBH I could get at least 3 of Yankee Candles candles at the RRP for the price of 1 of theirs and it would last half as long again with the burning and fragrance! As you can tell I love Yankee Candles all my friends know that and a few years ago I even converted my mum and she has a few in her house (but she only burns hers occasionally but even when not burning you can smell the fragrance. SO if anyone has any doubts and thinks YIKES at the price they are defo well worth the price, they have lots of yummy fragrances and will last ages (even if you burn them everyday for quite a few hours like me) and your house will smell amazing xxx0

I was in the MK Asda Yesterday and saw the £1 small sample candles but the larger glass jar ones next to them were a different brand. I remember thinking how sneaky that was which is why I remembered.
They may do the large glass jar Yankee candles but sadly I didn't see them otherwise I may of purchased one,0 -
They sell them cheap in Clintons cards bought the next size up from the sampler for 86p.0

Asda at Lakeside have a massive new range of Yankee candles Simply home. Tarts and samplers for £1, large candles around £10 - sorry can't remember exact prices. Differently packaged to the regular ones and different scents but otherwise seemed the same. Slightly set apart from the other candles, they had their own massive display. Also picked up a couple of stray bits in the HOF YC shop but slim pickings. Just Christmas plates left which I thought were still expensive at a fiver. No-one seems to run that concession so couldn't ask if there were any other offers.Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0
