Does anyone know of any good ones? Around the midlands if possible.
I've got most of the large online ones I think, jobserve, reed, purelyit, cwjobs etc, but am open to any other suggestions.
Many thanks for any advice folks:beer:

most of the big agencies advertise on jobserve / cwjobs. Its worth tweaking your CV to take advantage of their search software ( for example put your Key skills in a summary at the beginning ) - other than that hammer it every day and apply for lots of jobs

dont forget https://www.jobsite.co.uk too
what work are you after ?0 -

Thanks, I hadnt been on jobsite
I'm after server side tech, windows 2003 + exchange etc.
Is it normal to apply for about 20-30 jobs and only get about 5 responses? :eek:0 -
With agencies, it's often normal to get no response at all. Wouldn't take that much to email people who've applied for a job and tell them the position has been filled would it?
I've been in IT for a long time, but have only come across a couple of consistently good agents (not agencies...). I try to avoid them whenever possible - the only good agent is....
...one who pays up promptly (lol).0 -
