Hi Sukysue,
I picked up some nice bargains from my local charity shop. A chinese dish set:2 plates, chopsticks and mats from M&S fro £1, and a bath scrub and bath cream set from Next for £2, both are brand new and handy for mother's day or someones birthday, worth having a look. Will combine with a bunch of flowers, or some chocolate from the £1 shop!!0 -
I placed an order with thorntons https://www.thorntons.co.uk used 20% off code and went through quidco for another 15%,I managed to save £12.70.
I decided to buy easter eggs and some chocs for mothers day.
Have you tried ebay? if you put mothers day in the search box loads appear,i noticed teddy bears with bottles of perfume with them, they were really cute, they were cheap and the postage was reasonable, might be worth a look.0 -
Is it just me or does anyone else find it weird that Ann Summers has Mothers Day signs in the window?Illegitimi non carborundum.0

If you spend over £15 on Boots No7 you get a free jewelry wrap with 7 cosmetic items in worth £35. This would make a nice gift for the right person.
Note you can also get these on ebay for about £6 ish.
If you have a youngish mum or one that likes modern music you could get this compilation CD.
