Double Glazing firms the amount of bare faced lies they given me like "we are not here to sell anything but we are doing a council survey on energy efficiency and using heat sensing cameras, and oh I noticed you windows are old? to we have to inform you that as we are working in the area and your area is neighbourhood watch (it is not) we have to let people know we are working in your area, do you need new windows?
Chuggers and Southern Electric a regularly pest
We get almost daily now takeaways all go in bin without even reading them
Biggest company by far are worst offender is talk talk, both on phone and door
They ignored my requests on cold calling on phone I must have told them a dozen times. I left the company after that so lost business forever. I had to buy truecall to stop them pestering me. They still do it at least once a month at the door despite the sign they really are a utter sham-bulls of a company0 -

I'll bin the next one and let you knowI'm trusting you can bake cakes with hidden files just incase
Nothing posted through my door ever gets found again - let alone returned - years of lost catalogues and no-one has ever said or done anything so I think you are safe!!
(cakes without files are SO much nicer.....0 -
tell you what i'm 26 and often get the " are your parents home". I normally cannot repeat my response in public domain..
Sorry Evolution, to me it is still invasive delivering something i did not request to arrive at my house, the moment it lands on the welcome mat it is my property to do so as i wish. I purposely will bin anything through the door i did not want.0 -
After our visit from the last double glazing creepies, I printed out the No Cold Callers sign for our front door. Since then we've been harassed by the usual suspects. And they just don't care when you point out the sign. NPower & TalkTalk were still trying to sell my husband stuff after he told them we were already customers. The worst though has been The British Heart Foundation. It was after 9pm when they came knocking and after being shown the sign, told my husband it didn't apply to them to which he asked "And you really think I'm going to give you anything now?"
I know charities depend on donations, but really they are just hurting themselves with such bad practice!0 -

Kleeneze is approved by the Office of Fair Trading. They have stated that No Cold Calling areas and signs do not apply as we are not entering selling or buying transactions on the door step. 90% of our customers do indeed have these signs but are happily ordering products on a regular basis so it is confusing for both new distributors and householders alike. As distributors come and go it is not guaranteed that you will not get a catalogue posted through your door by simply telling the distributor as there are no territory restrictions and the next distributor would not know this information. I advise all my distributors to post a catalogue through unless there is a sign on the door that says No Catalogues. Kleeneze distributors pay for their catalogues, are often people working hard to make ends meet and save money rather than relying on benefits and I have 600 customers in my own local area alone that value the free door to door delivery service from an 88yr old British company. Please put a sign requesting No Catalogues on your door if you really don't want any, don't bin them it is hurting hardworking people financially and damaging the environment, we reuse them. If someone ignores a No Catalogues sign then go ahead and recylcle. Thank you everyone
So, if I understand you correctly, because Kleeneze can't be bothered to record centrally those who complain about receiving catalogues, then they will continue to be pestered with further catalogue drops and follow ups? I fear this lazy approach does not give the company - or the representatives a good reputation.0 -
