Just decluttering some Sherlock on DVD whilst waiting for dinner to cook. Then going to do another pile of ironing and then feed Ben, shower and go to bed. Only had a quick in and out this morning in the shower so am not getting into my nice clean bed until I feel squeaky clean lol.
Gtx good idea re the ten things, I'm going to need to take it a step further and do at least 1 thing every time I go upstairs.
List
Monday - kitchen and dining room
level one
Clear and wipe work surfaces, only put back what belongs here
Level Two
Sweep and mop floors, Use a cloth to get right into the corners and do any skirings too
Clean the drawer and filter in the WM
Wipe table and chairs
Level three
Sort out the cupboard you visit the least - do you need all that stuff?
Wander around downstairs and make a list of all the homeless things which make flying tricky
15 minutes wiping (inside fridge/doors/small appliances etc)
Rod list

I had a quick search on shadow boxes and found some at W!kinson (6x6, they don't give the depth) and some at !kea. Seems they're also called decoupage frames. HTH.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Hi, can I join please :hello:
I have a fairly messy house, with a lot of clutter that needs sorting, I am useless at being organised and having routines so hopefully with a bit more structure it will all get sorted.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Since you're all so good at finding things... I'm looking for beds for the spare room. I'd thought about a daybed with a popup trundle underneath (I need the option of either two singles or a double), and want 2'6" width rather than 3' as the room is only 10' x 9' and we need to have a desk and a couple of other bits of furniture in there.
Problems:
Most options are 3' - the 2'6" options I can find either don't look very robust or are expensive
Because daybeds have frames, even the metal ones take up more room than a divan would.
I have found stacking beds, where you stack the two frames and then put the mattresses on top. It makes for a rather high single bed, and a low double, but the mattresses are decent quality.
Any other ideas welcomed as I'm getting fed up with looking... I just want something solid, comfortable and small
that won't break the bank... 0 -

can highly recommend John Lewis - several small singles with tuck under beds in small single (2 ft 6). They make up as two singles or will zip together to make a king, and are very hardwearing & comfortable. This is the one we have.Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
