many thanks everyone for their replies and pm's.i think i'll go with the taxi as ive not got a clue where im going,its longstone street,so taxis probably best.0

Longstone Street is about a 15-20 minute walk from Lisburn train station, and about 10-15 minutes from the bus station. Check Google Maps for the directions - it's pretty simple.
If I were you, I would still take public transport. It's likely to be significantly cheaper than a taxi.0
