Dime Bar recipe

Hi all,

I'm looking for a tried and tested pudding/cake recipe using Dime Bars. Can anyone recommend one? I've found a few on the internet, but which one is best??

Thanks!

A friend of mine tried putting small broken pieces of Dime bars through a muffin mixture and it seemed to work quite well.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

Ohhh, i havnt had a dime bar for years!!! Anyone remember the 'armadillo' advert??? Crunchy on the outside - soft in the middle!!!!
I like the idea of trying them in muffins.
  • I loved that advert 'Crunchy on the outside, smooth on the inside! Aaaarmadillos!' :rotfl: I still adore Dime bars - there's something about the texture of the centre that I really like.

    I've found this:

    1oz butter
    300g Choc
    100g digestives - smashed up
5 dime bars - roughly chopped

Melt butter and choc, and stir in broken dime bars and biscuits. Press into 6in aprox round tin, press down, and chill till set.

I'm going to feel very ill by the time i've eaten that lot. But very happy!

    I don't have a pudding - I just love Dime bars...

I bet if you took at rolling pin to a couple and sprinkled it over vanilla icecream that would be a cracking pud...

Oh - I'm gonna have to visit the newsagent tomorrow for some!
