Remortgage v loan

My fiance is half owner of an inherited property. the other half owner wishes to buy it. They have no credit or debt issues and pay everything on time. They already own a property which they hope to sell, but not before getting the inheritance house done up. They are presently considering a loan but I wonder if they might be better to remortgage onto a interest-only payment mortgage. Once they sell their house they should be pretty much be mortgage free. My fiance will need to be paid around 65K for his share . Would a loan or remortgage be better, and where would be better to look?

Need to speak to a " whole of market mortgage broker" or IFA but I doubt that they could get a £65K loan and money to repair the house so a full mortgage would be needed0

Which property do they want to remortgage?0

The remortgage would be on their present property. The inherited property is already owned by my fiance and the other half owner, so my fiance needs 'paying off'. We were wondering, ourselves, if an independent financial advisor would be best. I've been trying to put the point across that banks are more into sales than the financial welfare of their clients.
