Making and Selling Items of Popular Characters

Hi

My partner is looking at making and selling items for children. It involves cutting up for example a Thomas The Tank Engine blanket and changing it into something else and selling it.

Can anyone tell me the legalities of this as she doesn't want to get into trouble :A

  • As above. Copyright and companies like Disney come down on people like a ton of bricks with things like that. Basically, if the product wasn't designed to be sold as something else, then you can't do it. I only know from experience x
