UK Parking Patrol Office

Hi guy's just reading through some of these threads to see how I stand and I am amazed at the amount of complaints against these ticket people..
My story is I was taking some clients to a new hotel in a taxi which is located right next to Newcastle Airport, just before you enter the Airport there is a little slip road to the right where you have to stop and give way to any traffic leaving the Airport. I had stopped but the clients started exiting the car saying no need to go into hotel as you need a pass to come back out so I thought nothing of it and they got out, I turned the car and drove off immediately. Today 14th April my firm received a letter from UK Parking Patrol office with two photos of the said taxi and guys getting out and they demanding £60 for parking in a no parking area even though I was dropping off.
Not sure how I stand but I certainly won't let them walk all over me......

So the vultures at at Newcastle Airport as well, just tell your firm to ignore them. I'm assuming it was addressed to the registered keeper (company itself), and they can't sue a company for a driver breaking a silly rule in a contract.0

just ignore the stupid prats, it's that easy.0

"UK Parking Patrol office" = Yet another attempt at fooling people into thinking that they are some sort of official body. Impersonation of authority. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Today I received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus regarding the above charge.... the money owed is now up to £149.99 giving me 7 days to make the payment.
I previously received 2 letters about my 'penalty charge notice' and realised that they have quoted 2 different dates and times under the same charge notice... fools!!!
So therefore cannot see how they can chase me for a notice when they dont even know which date it refers to lol.0 -
Carry on ignoring, you are getting near the end of the letter-chain.
The chimp in the office must be getting confused and is inputting the wrong dates and times.0 -
Most unprofessional. You know they're going nowhere and that's the important thing!0

Have they actually used the word "penalty"?0 -
I've had a few from Debt Recovery Plus. No they don't tend to use the word "penalty" but you do find the word on Euro Car Parks signage. You'd think a big player would know better.0
