HI
Ive never had a ccj before so could do with advice.
Outline of story, I got a loan from fairshare whor are a credit union. Due to my wife loosing her job that was the payment that had to be missed, so after a couple of missed payments and ignoring(my fault)letters I got a ccj.
Well I had a letter from court saying I had to pay £55PM by 2nd april, which I set up a standing order to do this with my account number. This was set up and payment was made on 2nd april.
Today got a letter saying I havnt made payment for the court order. They claim baliffs will come around although I will have prove due to it being on my statement.
Any advice where I stand.

Are you sure this is a court order and not a letter from a debt collector ?
Did you receive a set of stamped court papers and if so when ?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Why did you not turn up at court ?
And are you sure you rang the court and not a number on the letters the debt collectors sent.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
I just guess I tried to ignore it.
So what will happen now even though I made payment and they claim I never.0 -
I'd call the loan company (or whoever you were told by the courts to make your payments out to), I'd verify all the payment details with them including all your account details & explain to them the situation. You do realise that although you might make a payment online on a particular day, but that payment won't necessarily arrive at the payee's account for up to 3 days...I suspect this is what happened. Keep making your payments (set up a standing order, much much easier than remembering to pay each month.) They can try further enforcement if you miss any payments (charging order if you own a home, bailiffs) but I believe these have to be agreed by the courts, but sometimes all it takes is 1 missed payment to get that ball rolling. I think therein lies your problem ~ they said pay BY the 2nd, but you paid ON the 2nd, and as another kind poster has said, it can take a couple of days for the payment to be received even if it left your account that day.
Perhaps you would be as well to set up a standing order to go out on 27th or 28th of each month? That way it should always get there with a day or two to spare (even in February!).LBM July 2006. Debt free 01 Sept 12 .. :T

If you get a copy of your bank statement the payment will be showing on there so you can show it to them.
If this is going to be a regular payment to be there by the 2nd of each month, then you will need to make the payment a few days beforehand as Vikipollard suggestsGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
