I am having a problem with re-banding. I have spoken with the Accessors office and they are happy with the banding I have. I have pointed out the 5 houses in my street that are exactly the same are all band D and we are band E. They say my house has 108 sq mtrs and the other are all under 100 sq mtrs. Don't understand this. I have a single glazed leanto on the back of my house (as do others since 1993) that is totally uninhabitable and am arguing this point with them. The house next to me is a bigger house than ours bought at the same time as us and is band D. Dont understand. He has agreed to come up and review my house which is good. Has anyone had a similar problem and what did u do and how did u get one. Help! help!:mad: help.

Don't get mad. Just stick at it, it seems to work with everone else. We are getting ours rebanded (hopefully) but they are refusing to give us back approx. £1200 overpaid which we are appealling and we will carry on doing until we get a decent result.

Do you have a similar prob to mine. I just don't understand how they can class that add on as an extra room. Thanks for responding and best of luck.
