    Hi!!

    I received the same emails today too. I wouldn't mind but the price was up for such a long time. I am sure such a big company should honour the price really as opposed to quoting terms and conditions,

    I work in a store and if the price on the label doesnt match what it scans at we would honour it as "a gesture of goodwill"

    We would not say sorry I'm withdrawing it as we havn't done our job properly but I'll sell it you at the higher price!!

    Watchdog is on later maybe we should all contact them!!

    We should all boycott Amazon and get people on this site not to use them as way of showing our disapointment.

    I emailed my disgust to Amazon and received what looks like an automated reply from them, couldn't even be bothered to use my name on the mail!

    Mine cancelled too.
    I used a £10 gift certificate which I got from the Amazon credit card promotion last December. I have deleted the e mail with the gift code as I had used it on this order. Will they e mail me another code? What is the e mail address for contacting them?

    Mine cancelled too...Just like the disney boxset a while ago..I should of known better..So unfair..it's like a publicity stunt as you end up ordering other stuff too when placing an order so they know what they are doing....
    Waste of time complaining as you just end up with the an automted email..

    just got this reply Looks almost the same as beancounter and yes I got stung & let down by the disney one too my autistic daughter wanted it to go to her nanny's so she wouldn't keep forgetting her own!

  • Hi - I received emails from amazon explaining that it was "a pricing mistake" - I don't think that I will buy from amazon again !!! - I believe that they could of informed customers of this problem a long time before the expected estimated time of dispatch & delivery instead of waiting for the time to elapse and the customers having to email them for an explaination!!!

    Warmest regards - how dare you - thats a joke - how come its taken so long to realise that you have made a !!!! up on pricing - how come today in the same day you send a apoligies for the delay email - you also send a cancellation email - this is very poor behavior from a company that i was starting to trust.

    this stinks 100% and i would appreciate a personal reply - not a stock blah blah blah one. This order was placed ages ago, never mind the terms and conditions, what about customer service??????
