Today I was awarded Bankruptcy (I'm in Scotland). Such a quick process. Only applied on Tuesday and all done today.
But what happens next? It will be a few days before I get all the details in the post from the AIB.

Hi Lady, did you do this yourself via AIB or through an IP ? Do you need to contribute monthly payments?0

Hi. I did it myself via AIB. There are no contributions to be made as I only have Child Tax Credit & Child Benefit as my only source of income.0

Being honest nothing will really happen now, once you have a copy of your bankruptcy then you can fend off all your creditors if they come calling. You are obviously bound by the restrictions of BR whcich you can get from the AIB (you wil also get leaflets telling you). You can stop worrying now !! We have all been there!!0

Thank you.
I just can't get over how quick & easy it's been. The hardest part was agonising over whether or not I should do it lol.
It does feel like I can breathe a bit easier now.
Am still in shock though - with the speed & ease.
