EZI Pay and Doubletake Studios

Back on the 3rd Nov 2011, my friend and I went to Doubletake studios in Southampton, We had our make up and photos done, and afterwards decided that we would purchase a package each. My total came to £1386.00, I paid a deposit of £166.00 on the day using my debit card and then arranged a monthly payment plane through Doubletake with EZI Pay.... Great I would have to pay £50 a month.
I received a Disc of my photos, but not the photos or the 2 large poster sized ones that came with the package. I then received a letter from FRP to say that Doubletake had gone into Administration and Ezipay would not allow for orders to be completed and they advised me to cancel any further payments which did.
I then had a letter from Ezipay stating they wanted me to restart up the DD.
I telephoned them about this and was told that they were aware of the problem and they were awaiting details from the administrators and would get back to me.
I had not heard anything from them about it but then received a default letter. I telephoned again and explained everything and they told me I needed to prove my order to them with my original order form. I unfortunately have not got this any longer as my dog thought she would rip it up.
I explained this to Ezi pay who said that it is up to me to get the order over to them. I telephoned the administrators to see if they could help. They emailed me and said they had told ezi pay they were unable to get hold of it as all paperwork had been put in storage. They also said they thought that Ezipay would have had a copy of it anyway.
I said to Ezi pay that I am happy to pay for what I have had but they just keep telling me to send the order into them.
They have now passed this over to Retail Credit Management, who have sent me a letter stating there is a charge for a letter of £20.00 and also another one stating that I must pay the full balance within 48 hours.
I have telephoned them and have not had any luck they were very abrupt and told me the administrators must contact them, Ezipay are not dealing with this any more and it has been passed over to collections and they will be collecting the money.
I do not where I stand surley I can not be expected to pay for something I have not had. Any advice would be appreciated.

Bump this to keep it active.
I do not know what you do next, but instinctively of course you do not continue to pay finance for something you will never receive.
& the finance company should not put a default against you when failure to deliver the goods was due to bankruptcy of the supplier.0 -

Still got that letter?
Just quote it back at Ezipay and tell 'em that under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 they are equally liable for the failure to provide the goods or services contracted for.0 -

Yes I still have the letter but ezipay will not talk to me now as they have sent this to collections. I had even faxed then with the original letter.0 -
Is it worth sending the 'prove I owe it' letter? They might be more inclined to find the paperwork for you on what you actually signed up for.
