Still working in store. Mine is a little sly and only have the £4.00 price showing. All three types that I can get went through fine.

Is this really a glitch or just some cunning way to shift overpriced stock i wonder?

I ordered the Tandoori Chicken, it arrived yesterday and i was less than impressed at the amount of Chicken in it, no way was it worth £4.00... I've now ordered the Meatballs but i'm expecting much the same, they're superb value at £1.00 each but they're even overpriced at 2 for £6.00 which leads the conspiracy theorist in me to think it may not be the error it seems.

If something is reduced in price we might try one or two but it'd have to be brilliant for us to bother telling everyone else about, if something is a 'glitch' though, if we think we're getting one over on a corporate giant, then we flock to it and we fill our boots, and our freezers... maybe MrT isn't being as dim as we think, sure they'd never admit it but what better way to shift mountains of overpriced stock that would otherwise go out of date?

Take one Cat, chuck it at some Pigeons, and then toddle off to work, happy hunting everyone ;)

I've had several of these for less than £1 from the reduced to clear shelf in the past. They were only about 1/3 meat and lots of sauce. One of the ones I got suggested it could be used as a pie filling but there was far too much sauce for that! £4 is way over priced. My local store didn't have any this week. They are probably discontinued and just clearing the shelves.

Having worked in Tesco's IT department, I think it probably was a glitch but the time and effort involved wouldn't be worth it. I once spent over an hour in a meeting discussing a problem that was going to take 5 minutes to fix....

Did you hear about the Old El Paso glitch before Christmas?

If you bought the right combination of products they gave you money to take them away (no that's not an exaggeration that's literally what was happening - search on here for OEP), that glitch was well documented on here and ran for almost a month.

To think Mr T. has the wherewithal to actually look at these forums and then act on what they find assigns far more brains to them then they really have.

While I agree that £4 could be perceived as a high figure the reality is that most pre packed food items these days weigh between 350-400g and usually cost about £2.50-£4. These are 600g and because of the glitch are currently costing you either £1 or 25p if you buy the masala, there's no way Mr T. is making money on these right now if you include shipping costs and shelf space lost opportunity costs.

Given that the stores seem to have removed the Buy two for £6 SEL I suspect this could be the last day of this glitch anyway (it is still working today Thursday) but if it survives till tomorrow it won't get fixed till next Tuesday in all likelihood.
