No proper cooking required You can either heat on the stove or "ding" em.

Had the tandoori chicken for lunch - really good but will add more chilli next time, thats only coz I like them hot.

I think its mostly the larger stores and extras, they dont have them in my local 'ordinary' medium sized branch but have loads in the local extra.

Also Simply Roast beef topside with a horseradish and mustard stuffing & crumb which are frozen and in the freezer section was price dropped to £3.00 instead of £6.00 serves 3-4. Also packs of 2 frozen lamb chops £1.50 instead of £3.00. That's if there is any room left in the freezer !!

No, it doesn't work on these - I mistakenly thought they were the ones that the OP meant and picked up 2 yesterday but was charged the full £6 for them.

Son and I have just had the Simply Add beef chilli for tea. Used one pack and plenty for 2 people. It was lovely as well and I'm so glad i've got another 5 in the freezer

Completely unrelated but I went to UEL near there for 6 months aha! Loved it there


Working in York, Askham Bar tesco tonight, my Grandma got a few. Almost put them back at the till as it only showed -£2.00 on the till, but then took the rest off.

That threw me as well and I did put them back - then as I had made a special journey decided in the car park that I couldn't go back empty handed and went back for them again (on the basis I could take them back to customer services if it didn't work :cool:). It again showed the Beef Chilli -£2.00 on the till but when I got my receipt I was pleased to see the £6 off :beer:.

Shame that there was only the two AGAIN and none of the other flavours ... but got home home and am in the bad books with Mrs Anon as the freezer is full and some frozen food will now need to be eaten tomorrow as it wouldn't fit in . Me thinks I may have bought too many deals recently :A.
