Nah, you'll go in for a new pair of shoes and they'll sell you a whole outfit.

I had a voucher for a half price tee shirt and they told me I needed new shoes, trousers and socks, as they are experts I said yes and it cost me £600- have I got a good deal?

You got off lightly mate. I went there for a pair of trainers, and they reckoned that my knees needed straightening, my ankles were f****d and that I needed breast reduction - said my "moobs" would get in the way when I did the marathon:eek::eek::eek::eek:

The estimate came to over £10K:mad:

Welcome to MSE, tomgat. I've moved your thread to the I wanna buy-it or do-it board.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies.
