Sorry, I think I confused you. What I meant is, normally I pay for one entry but on these free days, NT members can take guests in for free too.
I think usually they do a free weekend once a year.

I think possibly the best thing to do is to ring where ever you are going before you set off. All of the venues must have been told about this weekendI think they have changed the wording since the original statement. It now reads:
Offer terms and conditions- Offer valid only from the 21- 22 April at participating properties during published opening times only. A list of participating properties can be found below. Please check opening times before you visit
- Voucher is valid ONLY on completion of name and address details
- The offer is free entry for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children (between the ages of 5 and 16yrs). The voucher is flexible and can also be used by adults only (up to a max of 2 adults) or by adults and children (1 adult and 3 children or 2 adults and 2 children)
- Only one voucher can be used per paying adult or National Trust member.
- This voucher must be surrendered upon admission and is non-transferable against the cost of membership
- This offer is not valid for coach parties
- There is no cash alternative
- This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer
- Not valid on bank holiday or bank holiday weekends
- Not valid at a National Trust event where a separate charge is made

My voucher doesnt state the paying adult bit - these are the relevant T&C's:

• This offer is not valid for coach parties
