Hi all
Just wondered if anyone could shed some light on this question.
If Blackhorse gained a reposession for a vehicle and they have now sold the debt on and not repossed the car does the reposession order still stand now Lowell own the debt??
(I had a car on HP with BH took abroad with me for a few months and subsequently crashed it and wasnt covered on my insurance
Had difficulties paying Finance and Blackhorse got repo order for the car but car not in the UK so they couldnt. Now debt has been sold and lowell finance chasing me for 10k and wondering if I did manage to get car back to uk and repair it can either BH or Lowell reposess still if I do. Dont want to pay out for repairs and shipping car back to Uk if they just gonna take it off me??)
Thanks in advance

Good question. I believe that if they are entitled to the car and you don't get it back, you're still liable for the debt and they can get a CCJ if necessary?
Am sure someone will put you right if that's not the case!

Thanks heartbreak. I understand I am still liable for the debt (providing lowell have correct cca etc) but my question relates to the repo order gained by Blackhorse. Now they have sold the debt to lowell and no longer own it does the repo order they aquired still stand as it was made out to BH and not lowell. Do lowell have to apply to the courts for another??0
