heeeelp need a mortgage

Hi all I have 15k deposit but I can only get around 70K mortgage because I'm on 18k a year(I'm single). I can't find anything to buy for this price in the south east. Will any banks/buidling societies lend me more? Anyone know of anything that could help me get my own place short of committing a crime and getting my own prison cell?

    Maybe a little more (75k) but not a huge amount. If you move up north you could buy the whole of Burnley for that amount and have enough change left over to build a 10ft wall to keep the locals out.

    First lender I looked at would go up to £90,000 for your wage.

    Obviously theres lots of other things to be taken into account which may change this.

    Get to an Independent Mortgage Advisor and they will know who is lending the most in the current climate
