possession Order

a bit of advice please regarding a 'Possession Order' please Guys?
had a hearing on the 5th April at a County Court & it has been adjourned for 28 days.
The reason the District judge has adjourned was due to a misunderstanding of my Earnings by the Lender for example on my Bank Statements it would show a payment by Cheque but they just couldn't understand that been self employed I have running costs such as Fuel, Fees & Insurances per month.
also the lenders sent a 'Field agent ' to our home without appointment & we was billed for this service and he advised the Lenders that we SHOULD be Interest Only Mortgage.
We are in arrears due to my Wife been life changing illness & I am her Carer as well as working Self Employed & my income has suffered greatly.
Been in constant talks with our lender for over a year about changing repayment mortgage to Interest only which would enable us to maintain mortgage payments & paying a sum extra per month towards the arrears.
But they are refusing as they say I can afford the full payments based on my Bank Statements , i have phoned & written to them but its like banging my head against a wall.
any way the question....if a judge orders a Possession is there still a chance a deal can be made afterwards or is that it?
I know a Judge cannot order the lenders change our Mortgage to Interest only ( although at the hearing he did say they should look at it again) but we have made a sensible offer that would allow us to clear arrears in just over a year.
thanks in advance for any advice
