Freelance Organisation Goes Under

Hi, I have just found out today that the organisation for which I have been doing some freelance work have changed hands and is being dismantled from what I can understand. The staff are being made redundant.#
As a freelancer, I'm pretty sure I won't get anywhere near that, but I am interested in the fact that they still owe me over £800. Any ideas please?
Please also advise whether the advice still stands if the organisation has actually gone under rather than is simply being dismantled.
Thanks for your help and advice,
Claire

If they actually go into liquidation you will be an unsecured creditor and therefore be at or near the bottom of the list of people to get paid.0
