I need a new vacuum cleaner desperately and this seems a great price. Are they heavy? I currently have a dyson and I just cant manage to carry it upstairs anymore.

I wouldnt say they are heavy but I've never had a dyson, when I first got mine i thought it was a little bit noisier than my previous hoover but I dont notice it now.
Do you have any bathroom scales that you could weigh your dyson with as it says this hoover is 7kg

Duurrr that never occurred to me:o Just weighed it and its 8.8kg. Will definitely get one now. Thanks a lot:T

No probs - they're fairly easy to carry anyway as they have a carry handle bit at the front.

My bissell vacuum cleaner just arrived. :j
Has anyone else received theirs yet? I expected the colour to be purple as the image on their website (love pets) showed a purple bissell. Did anyone get a purple one or was it red like mine? I know the colour should not matter but I was expecting it to be purple. I do find it a bit annoying when you pay for a product and it arrives and is not exactly what you expect. I have had another look on the website to see if it stated the colour but can't find anything about it. I feel a bit of a wally ringing up to say I expected a purple one
