Teeth whitening gel

Does anybody have any recommendations on which website is good for buying teeth whitening gel? It's just the gel I want as I have custom made trays.

Thanks!

    Hi,

I had custom molds made last month. I have already run out of the gel my dentist gave me but bought the same brand from:

    http://www.crestwhitestripsnow.co.uk/

They delivered within 10 days. I will buy from them again. HTH.

Supplying this stuff direct to the public is illegal.

This means that the supplies you get from places like this are dodgey at best.

UK suppliers will not be able to supply these companies, so it's anybodies guess where they will have come from, and in what conditions they've been stored in during that time.

Counterfeit goods do exist, and this is a prime sort of area where you're likely to find them.

    Beware.
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

If you had run out you should have contacted your dentist after all you have paid for their expert advice. Either you are not using the gel correctly (no more than a drop per tooth) or the gel needs adjusting or you are hoping for a result that cannot be achieved. You are not supposed to be whitening non stop for months on end, that is damaging, and you certainly shouldn't be topping up treatment more than once or twice a year. You pay a dentist to supervise treatment so you get a safe and healthy result.

Most dentists will supply syringes for top up treatments at reasonable cost.
  • Be careful and steer clear of Smile Science, I've had a very bad experience of their foam and it seems lots of people on here have had other problems with these con artists
