Has anyone used a pension liberation scheme?

I Have a pension pot that could be better used as a good deposit on a house to secure my familys future and reduce our rent/mortgage payments?
Is there anyone out there who has used one of these schemes or knows of such a person?
The one i have inquired about seems ok on the face of it and company checks and web search's have found nothing to tell me otherwise?
I Am at an age where i can step up payments into my current pension as well to ensure there's enough when i retire?
The fees seem ok and they say it will be tax free, this is the part i am very uneasy with?
Thanks for reading my post

I know someone that has. Told him it was illegal. He still did it. So, I reported him under the money laundering regs. The one i have inquired about seems ok on the face of it and company checks and web search's have found nothing to tell me otherwise?
So, despite the High Court ruling them illegal, you still think it is ok? Are you aware of the consequences once HMRC start coming after you?
The fees are typically implicit and hidden. The assets typically worthless.... to you anyway. Not the people they buy the assets from. The fees seem ok and they say it will be tax free, this is the part i am very uneasy with?
Call it a scam. Call it illegal.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
