Alternative to Benefit concealer as im skint :(

Hi guys,
For a while now I have been using benefit make up, I really like their boing concealer and their foundation. I think they work well on me and I have been ok with the prices as I only get 1 every 6 months or more.
However I am pretty poor right now, and really don't like the thought of spending £16 on concealer.
Can anyone recommed any other good cheaper brands as I will run out soon. I have quite pale skin, dry to medium and have dark circles under my eyes so use it mainly there. I like the creamy consistancy of it.
I also use body shop toiletres, which I like. I have had a look at avon as my friend works for them, but was very disappointed.
Does anyone have any recommendations for me? Doesn't have to be dirt cheap, probably up to £10 would be considered.

I'm really impressed with Collection 2000's concealer - I've got MAC's Studio Finish and their moisturising concealers but I reach for the C2000 one more. Seems to be nicer on my dry skin and lasts/blends just as well. Maybelline's unwind or rewind one is supposed to be nice too but I've not tried that one yet.

I second the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection one, it has great coverage and doesn't cake up on my dry skin.

Boots 17 own brand make up is fantastic, I haven't tried the concealer as I dont wear it but I have tried most other products and have never been let down, also they are 3 for 2 atm and there are offers on the advantage card machine if you have one:)
Thank you for this site Martin

Oh I adore Boiing! But when I can't afford it I buy the Boots No 17 one. It's about £3.99, often they have 342 offers.

I too have horrible dark circles and I read a tip from another MSEr about using a green concealor on them first, then normal concealor on top. And I tried it and it does work very well!! I just buy the Boots Natural Collection one which is £2.

  • if you have something you love try and get the extra £6 to pay for it. Worst case you get something cheaper, dont like it and end up getting the benefit anyway (or trying a couple of cheaper alternatives and spending the same sort of money in the hunt for a cheaper alternative).
As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection - I use it over a few of my expensive ones now and it is only £3 or £4, Great coverage and not cakey!

I agree with the others who say Collection 2000, I can't tell the difference really between this one and the much more expensive Clarins concealer.
