New Business Legal Question

The company that I work for are starting to lose customers hand over foot by increasing there prices.

A large amount of these customers have said it a shame you dont set up on your own as they would follow.

I do not have a contract of employment and was wondering what the legal stand on these customers coming to me would be.

Any advice greatly recvd.

You will almost certainly be bound by duties of trust, confidence and fidelity which may survive your leaving employment.

You may wish to consult a solicitor before reaching a decision to avoid potential future complications.
    Don’t be a can’t, be a can.
  • There's probably a reason why they're increasing their prices.

It certainly doesn't mean that with start-up costs you'd be able to undercut their prices and make a profit, or even a living.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

What makes you think you don't have a contract of employment? Unless you are working there self employed you will have a contract even if you've never signed anything.
