hi
i've got my mortgage application meeting on thursday and need some help if poss
my partner works a minimum of 16 hours per week part time, a weds/thurs/sunday, the hours may very a hour here and there but in general are the same every week
she is not contracted but is guaranteed the hours from her management and it has been this way for 2 years now with wage slips coming in each month about the same
will it effect our chances of having her 'wages' accepted for the mortgage, we will be putting down 15% deposit on our first house and would need her wages albeit very minimal to help achieve the required mortgage
on our side is no debt or outstanding finance, no missed payments or ccj's etc
we are applying for a mortgage with our bank
any help would be much appreciated

Very much depends on who the bank is. Some are super careful and anything negative will turn them off. Who do you bank with?Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
September 2016 - Back into clearing a mortgage - Was due to be paid off in 32 years in March 2047 -
April 2018 down to 28.00 months vs 30.04 months at normal payment.
Predicted mortgage clearing 03/2047 - now looking at 02/2045
Aims: 1) To pay off mortgage within 20 years - 20370 -

If it is permenant employed more or less all lenders will take the income at 100% earnings.0 -
santander, been hearing bad things about them though. i earn 27k she only earns 4k but we need that extra as mine doesn't quite get the amount we need of 121k. the monthly payments she gets never fluctuate that much, between 320 and 370 a month usually. she works the same shifts every week and has been employed there just under 2 years0

it isn't but is. she has the same set hours each week but they could even though they wouldn't just get rid of her0
