There is no free parking in Wakefield Town Centre, the cheapest place is possibly the Ridings centre but depends how long you are parking for. Its 50p all day on a Sunday though. It is usually better to get the bus as it goes right into town centre. Hope this helps.0

Thanks both,
I'm not near enough to walk, the cheapest I've found at the moment is the carpark near Wilkinsons, do you know if there are any cheaper?

I meant the one at the back of Wilkinsons, although I've seen the one near cash convertors too.
I could park in one of the retail parks, I'm only just finding my way around at the moment though, so would have to make sure I remember where it was!!Comping Challenge

the sainsburys car park, it's close to town and usually plenty of parking as there's also homebase mfi matalan etc there. there was also a carpark on northgate opposite the registrars office, i found that the cheapest not free but cheap. Sadly like most cities free parking in wakefield is a thing of the past.0
