Mortgage Joining Fees

I've read loads about the Mortgage Exit Fees being unfair.. but is there any info on the joining fees being unfair too.. or are they covered here because the figures are transparent from the onset?

Anybody know?

as you have said these were declared when joining so are not unfair. the FSA ruling only states that the exit fees cannot be increased after completion
