    That's entirely down to an individual underwriters decision. Who will consider this in the context of your overall application.

    Reduce your offer on the property is another option.

    Thanks for replying :) reducing the offer is not really an option. The offer accepted is 10k below asking price and I initially offered lower which was refused.

    It's not the end of the world as I would most likely be able to get the missing 3k via family (not ideal) but they won't give me it now to pay off the CC!

    Cheers for the advice though :) just a waiting game!
