SO YOU'D LIKE TO SEE THE WORLD WITH SPAR? OF COURSE YOU WOULD!
SEE THE WORLD WITH SPAR (#SPARWORLDTRIP) IS AN EXCITING ONLINE COMPETITION WHERE THE WINNER WILL BE SET OFF UPON AN ALL EXPENSES PAID JOURNEY AROUND THE WORLD!

SPAR is offering one winner from each of the six participating countries the role of a SPAR Reporter. SPAR Reporters travel the world, discovering local experiences in over fourteen countries whilst sharing their adventures with us online.The selection procedure of SEE THE WORLD WITH SPAR consists of three separate rounds. Each round is about showing us why you have the talents necessary to be a SPAR Reporter.

SEE THE WORLD WITH SPAR TERMS & CONDITIONS (GUIDELINE VERSION)

The following are full and complete terms and conditions pertaining to the "See The World With SPAR" (STWWS) promotion campaign 2012:

1.Entry into the contest is open to citizens of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or older, and SPAR UK reserves the right to require proof of age and nationality of all contestants at our discretion. Entry is limited to one registration per person, and must be made through https://www.seetheworldwithspar.co.uk, from the 15th or March until the 18th of May 2012. Entries submitted after the 18th of May 2012 shall not be considered for further assessment.

2.SPAR UK shall have no liability for any expenses incurred by entrants when creating any submission for the contest.

3.Application videos must be posted on https://www.youtube.com and must be linked to your STWWS contestant registration on https://www.seetheworldwithspar.co.uk. Other contestants and viewers may comment on and rate your application through views, tweets, shares, comments and likes on the most popular social networks. The online interaction the application videos generate will be monitored and the videos that generate the most online interaction will get the highest social points. The contestants with the top 5 highest ranked applications will be invited for an interview at the head office of SPAR UK. During the interview the individual skills of the contestant, as well as the quality and appropriateness of the application video will be discussed. Out of the 5 interviewees, 2 will be selected by SPAR UK to advance to the finals at the SPAR International office in Amsterdam. After the finals, one winner from the UK will be selected to become SPAR Reporter and proceed to represent SPAR UK in the STWWS campaign.

4.The person selected to become the UK SPAR Reporter will be expected to undertake special assignments on behalf of SPAR UK, on terms to be agreed. Such assignments shall be selected at SPAR UK's discretion.

5.You will be solely responsible for the content of your application and the consequences of posting or publishing it, including in relation to any defamatory material or content that intrudes on the privacy of any third party. SPAR UK does not endorse any application or any opinion, recommendation or advice expressed therein, and SPAR UK expressly disclaims any and all liability in connection with your application. Accordingly you agree to indemnify SPAR UK in respect of all actions, claims, costs, damages, demands, expenses, fines, losses, liabilities, penalties and sanctions (including, but not limited to, losses that are indirectly associated with the posting or publishing of your application, loss of profit and loss of reputation, amounts paid in settlement, out-of-pocket expenses, interest, penalties and all reasonable legal and other professional costs and expenses) arising out of or in connection with the posting or publishing of your application.

6.You warrant that you have and continue to have, all necessary licenses, rights, consents and permissions necessary for the use of all content in your application, including in particular any intellectual property rights in any images or music contained therein.

7.You will retain full ownership rights in your application, but in submitting your application to us, you agree to grant to us a worldwide, exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license (including the right to sub-license to any user of https://www.seetheworldwithspar.co.uk, Social Media sites or otherwise) to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display or otherwise manipulate your application including for the purposes of the application. In submitting your application to us you agree to waive all moral rights in your application. By entering this contest, you agree to SPAR UK's use of your image or likeness and personal details for related promotional usage.

8.SPAR UK reserves the rights, at its sole discretion, to refuse to post, modify or remove any application and/or comment in relation to an application for any reason, with or without prior notice and without liability. SPAR UK reserves all rights to take appropriate action in relation to any comments or application which are offensive or unlawful.

9.SPAR UK reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to deny, restrict, suspend or terminate your access to https://www.seetheworldwithspar.co.uk at any time. SPAR UK is not bound to account for such a decision. Once your registration has been terminated by SPAR UK you may not re-register on https://www.seetheworldwithspar.co.uk or Social Media Sites. Terminations made by SPAR UK can be done without prior notice and justification.

10.SPAR UK shall not be held liable for any lost or late, illegible or inaccessible applications or for loss of data (including the deletion, corruption or failure to store submitted applications) or damage due to malfunction of or trouble with devices used to provide https://www.seetheworldwithspar.co.uk or Social Media Sites, or any part of the communication network. SPAR UK shall not be liable in any circumstances (including negligence) for any direct or indirect damages for any loss of data that results from your use of https://www.seetheworldwithspar.co.uk or Social Media Sites (including in relation to any viruses or other similar computer related damage).

11.Should the contest, in SPAR UK's sole opinion, be compromised by any event beyond SPAR UK's control, SPAR UK reserves the right at its sole discretion, to modify, terminate, amend or extend the contest without liability to you or any other contestants.

12.Contestants have to follow these Terms and Conditions to the fullest extent possible. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by British Law. SPAR UK's decision in all matters shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into. The promoter of the contest in the UK is the Head Office of SPAR UK.
