Cineworld Unlimited using Tesco Clubcard

Just received an email saying that you can use your clubcard vouchers to purchase a Cineworld Unlimited Card. They require £75 in vouchers but it is limited to 1000 only.

  • Don't think I've ever had 75 pounds worth of club card vouchers in one go
  • seems a good deal versus the 215 quid it will cost me to buy the pass otherwise. Any idea of a quick way to build up enough points for this.

How many club card points equal vouchers?

To get £75 worth of vouchers you would need 7500 points, but if you're planning on taking a while to build up your points, then be aware that they only had 1000 available in the first place and a click on the link shows that they have already sold more than 200 of the passes. If it might take you say 6 months to build up the points, then you may miss out and be disappointed.

Oh wow this is amazing. I LOVE my cineworld unlimited card - often go and do a few in a row (speaking of which Battleship..the kind of movie you would never pay full price to see but then you go on unlimited and think actually that was really good fun!)

Does anyone know if you can use this if you already have an unlimited card - ie could we cancel our rolling contract and buy this outright?

has anyone done this two years on the trot so effectively renewing their unlimited card for a second year using the Tesco reward option?

Reason I am asking is I believe upon renewal of an unlimited card you get a larger discount on in cinema purchases and also the 3d surcharge is dropped as well.
