Hi guys,
iam planning an extension at the moment..... i have applied for planning permission but its going to take 8 weeks to get an answer.... i will want to lump 10k onto the mortgage if i get permission.. but my mortgage deal runs out in 4 weeks.... what should i do?
how can i work this?

If you remortgage and take a further advance, look for a lender that lets you make over payments. That way if you are declined you can repay the advance. Other option Wait 8 weeks then do the remortgage, you will be on SVR but at least you will know if you need to take the further advance. How big is your mortgage0

You could go for a mortgage with a drawdown facility - Woolwich openplan for example.
