Ergoflex Mattress, or not...advice please

Hi,

Am really interested in hearing from anyone who has lived with an ergoflex mattress for 2yrs or more. Had a Tempur mattress on a double bed for a few years and loved it. Now have a king-size bed and are contemplating the ergoflex.

Would be keen to hear the experiences of people who have owned one for a few years, specifically around reliability/wear questions.

My assumption is that it'll be similar to a Tempur from a comfort perspective so opinions of owners on that would also be good.

Thanks in advance!

Haven't slept on a tempur mattress but did try them before we bought our ergoflex king mattress around 3 years ago. We also bought the pillows and have since purchased a single for our spare room as well.

The mattress is still very much the same as it was when we first got it. It's quite firm, but seems to soften underneath you after you have been in bed for a few minutes - very comfortable and gives good support.

It took us a while to get used to the mattress when we first received it but all in all a very good buy, don't think I'd ever go back to springs now. I'd also add that we don't use a protector on the mattress as we found this made the mattress feel quite a lot firmer. You can however take the cover off this mattress and machine wash it, so totally different to the normal type of mattress.

The only criticism I have of the mattress is the weight -it is exceptionally heavy. Not a huge problem for me as we have it on a divan type bed, but if it was contained within a bed frame with side edges I can imagine it being difficult to lift the mattress to tuck the sheets underneath when making the bed, there are no handles on the mattress you can use either.

    Hope this helps!

Ergoflex Mattress..great buy ,tried one in sons home and for first time in 2 years had great sleep, ordered a double from their website ,delivered in 2 days, used that night . after having a good quality mem/foam topper , that smelled at first , I opened window after laying mattress on bed and had a small 6 inch fan running for 2 hours, the best buy I made in years , no comparrison to orthapedic mattress with topper ,price was great £428 incl. delivery ,tried local furnature shop and their mem/foam at just under £900 was nowhere near as good , also
mattress is same spec for material as
    tempur.
    highly commecd to anyone.
