Mortgages for home businesses

Does anyone have any information on banks/building societies who are happy to lend to people who are going to be running a business from home. We are buying a new home as our main residence but would like to run a clinic from home. We've just been turned down flat by one bank, does anyone have any info on more accommodating lenders?

Then its not a mortgage you require. As you'll be converting the premises to commercial use.0
