Debt Consolidation vs Home improvement?

Is "debt consolidation" seen as a good answer to the question "what isthe purpose of your loan?" on an application form?
I have some CC debt that I would like to pay off the a personal loan
and then use the balance for a home improvement project.
Quite often there is only the option to put one answer.I want to borrow for both home improvement and debt consolidation

To be honest I cant see a loan company being happy to see you intend using a loan to pay a loan,"home improvements" sound better though.0
