Will GE Money Use Equifax?

Hi there,
I have applied for a GE Money mortgage an they use a IDOL (Instant Decision On Line) software which only searched my Experian file. There is a default which I was unaware of until recently with Virgin Media on my file which only hits two years in July. Will GE search Equifax or just base my application on the information found on Experian?
They have a HUGE application and survey fee and I would hate to lose that if they did check Equifax.

GE money allow for defaults, although i think it needs to have been satisfied even if its only a couple of weeks before. Being Virgin money i cant imagine it being that much.
Although im presuming as your looking at GE money im guessing you have defaults elsewhere from the past?
I cant answer your question though, ive got an app going through at the minute with them, im not sure who they ue to credit check. I imagine if theyve used one that would be it done and dusted.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. My EXPERIAN defaults (the ones I knew about) are settled and all over 2 years old! I checked my Equifax and the only one registered was a different one from Virgin which hits 2 years in July! So it doesn't meet their criteria. I never even got a letter from Virgin, still probably my fault as well, just like the others!
Just wondered if anyone has a mortgage from GE to advise!0
