What rates are you on?

Just out of curiosity really, I'm currently on a 0.86% base rate tracker with C&G and have a mortgage advisor coming to see me next week. I like to scour the markets for a lot of my various financial dealings every few years so figure it can't do any harm, but I'm pretty sure, even with my limited knowledge of the current mortgage market, that this broker will get absolutely nowhere near this. Or maybe I'm wrong! Any feedback gratefully received.

Unlikely!
I am on 3.28 fixed rate two years no fee deal0 -
No advisor will get close to that.
If your happy staying on a variable rate there wont be a lot he can do. If you prefer the idea of a fixed rate then maybe there is something he can do but not at a rate that low.
If you have life insurance, critical illness, buildings and contents insurance then he may just review those for you and see if he can improve your policy or save you money....or a combination of the 2.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. BOE + 0.75% offset lifetime tracker
Trouble is YBS have a 3% base rate collar, meaning my rate is 3.75%.
Not losing any sleep over it since I'm 100% offset...and have been for 5 years.

I started on a 5 year fixed at 5.63% back in June 2008. I have a year left, just as the rates seem to be increasing again. Seems I have had a bit of bad luck mixed with some poor mortgage advice compared to the rates already posted! Oh well.0

I can beat that, I have a 10 year fix at 5.85% with 6 years left, with erpc etc etc. I have reduced my term by 10 years and throwing everything at it bar the kitchen sink..0 -
