An alternative to OO or renting? Live in a multi generational household which will also cut costs for childcare and care of the elderly. At least that's what the Government seems to be telling us. There has been a lot of talk recently out there in media land.0

So despite increasing unemployment, rents rising by more than inflation, and housing benefit cuts, the number of people in serious rent arrears is just 2.4%.....

Around 10% I would say that a wild fire could break out very easily.
The tinder is dry enough. Just requires the right ignition to spark it.0 -
Of course there is a severe shortage of housing and it is not going to get any better. Neither will it stem the flow of migrants flooding into this country.
I've long maintained that migrants get priority housing over our own. If I'm wrong, and they don't.....where do they all live when they arrive? Just a thought...;)0 -

Closer to 9% actually (when I was at school rounding with a figure less than .5 rounded down)
You seem to have overlooked that the percentage has decresed from 10.7% at the end of 2011.
Seem's that theres increasing dampness in your tinder meaning your "spark" will likely fizzle out:wall:
