tesco HP camera and printer 59.95

I bought one of these for my daughter from Argos at £79.95 as a birthday present. I thought it was a steal at that price, £59.95 is an excellent deal. The camera produces good pix and has useful features.The photo printer (6 x4 ins) produces much better quality pictures than I was expecting. The only thing I would say is that there is no separate viewfinder on the camera which means you have to use the video screen for all photos...which obviously eats up batteries more quickly but I guess that's become the standard way to take digital snaps now.

Not bad if you can get one fro Tescos for £60 but bear in mind it's only £75.74 + VAT = £89 on HP's website so the £250 Argos are charging is a BIG rip-off.

Argos says it's a Photosmart A433 camera and M425 printer. not sure it's worth £160-£190 extra though! I think it's just a slightly updated model camera.

It might be that Argos are now selling a slightly updated camera with a new model numner for £250 but it looks exactly like the one I bought there in janary for £79.95. At the time it was on as a clearance item and I was told that the usual no quibble return within 14 days did not apply as a result. Buy from Tesco's (unlike the petrol!) would seem to be the advice...it's a genuione bargain if you want an easy to use reasonable quality digital camera with a printer thrown into the deal!
