Its a 32" tv but im not into TVs that much, no idea how good it is.
PS It has to be a 32" TV, (present for parents) and can only shop in Comet, vouchers you see.

try selling your vouchers on ebay youl prob only get 10 - 20 quid less than true value of vouchers but will prob get that back from savings you make from shopping elsewhere0 -
Sometimes Goodmans is thought to be synonomous with 'cheap and nasty'0

Best advice anyone can give you is to goto: http://www.avforums.com/forums/index.php and locate the 'LCD Forum' then in the top right, select the 'Search this forum' and enter the name and model number from the comet site into the appropriate box. Hit the search and read the threads on the TV's.
It might be worth a mention that some of the threads will probably drag on, this is because people want different things out of their tv's. Some want them to function as a parttime monitor, others want to watch purely SD (standard defintion) TV, others have SKY (SD\HD (high definition)) but want it to be compatible with their xbox, xbox360, ps2, ps3 etc etc. The list is endless.
Here's some threads to get you started:

Ignore the discussions on 1080i\1080p\720p as it all just gets in the way. Any LCD purchased today is good for at least 5 years using SD freeview broadcasts so is irrelevant unless your parents intend on connecting a PC\Mac\Xbox\PS3 for the afforementioned HD (high defintion) broadcasts, but if the rumour mill is to be believed, it won't be untill 2012 that the BBC makes such broadcasts a standard.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -

If you really must go to Comet the Panasonic is the one I would go for out of the options you have given.0
