I will probably do what I did last night with some other things - I will find them and then save them in Favourites on the lap top. No excuse then!
I have been having a good look at the jobseeking forum, followed the links to what I thought would be useful sites and saved them in Favourites. Just need to do that with guardian, fish4jobs and any others I can think of. Just need to get my thinking cap on!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Do you have a local regional newspaper?

Hi All
Right, I am going to try and make this post a moaning-about-OH-free-zone!
At the weekend (at my request) DS had a really good sort out of his book case, because I am sure pretty much all of the books he has ever owned were on there (he is now 13!). He has managed to sort out 3 Avon delivery boxes full of books he no longer wants. So the next job is sort through them and see which ones could be sold, which ones I could keep to give away as birthday and Christmas presents, which ones can go to the charity shop and which ones to just chuck. I suppose the difference between ones I can sell and ones that will go to the charity shop will be how much I can sell them for on Amazon – if the going price is 1p there is not a lot of point listing them!
Also at the weekend I gave OH a job to do which he has actually started to do! We have a large bookcase downstairs – I use the bottom shelf for my Avon stuff and on the next shelf up is a basket in which I put all OH’s work-related things that he leaves lying around, in the hope that he will actually go through it and work out what he wants to keep and what can go. Needless to say this basket was overflowing because that particular job had not been done. So on Sunday afternoon I handed him the basket, plugged the shredder in and put it right next to him and invited him to get started, which he did! He would have continued but he had to go and see his Mum – he took her Avon delivery to her for me. He has not yet finished this job but I can’t complain because it was me who was hogging the sofa last night (using the laptop) so he wasn’t actually sat by the basket.
OH is auditioning for an ad today (fingers very tightly crossed) so won’t be back until late (he has to wait for an off-peak train). I gave him sandwiches and a flask of coffee to take with him so, as I told him, he doesn’t need to use the Egg card for anything other than travel expenses. I am not going to make any other comment about that as I did say that I wouldn’t moan about OH in this post (plenty of time for that later!!!).
This afternoon I am going to get stuck into doing some stuff for my review. I have done the work that needed urgently doing today so I can get on with it – everything else that needs doing can wait until after Thursday afternoon. Unless, that is, I manage to get everything done for my review that I need to do.
Suppose I had better get on with it – bye all!!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Yes we do. The local (weekly) one for our town we buy every week and I always look in there for jobs. There is also another one which is an evening one based in the city that we are nearest to. That one has lots of jobs in on a Thursday so I plan to make sure he starts getting that one. Last night I also saved in Favourites JobCentre Plus (is that the right name?).
I am doing all I can to push him in the right direction. I do feel slightly resentful that I have to do all this for him ,otherwise I just know that it wouldn't get done. I do sometimes wonder how many children I have actually got!!PigginSkint's debt free diary

OH phoned me up about 3pm all excited - he is down to the final 2 for the ad and we will know tomorrow whether has got it. Woohoo!
He was so excited he sounded drunk! I had to ask him whether he had been drinking.
He actually said to me that he felt he was becoming more money-orientated (welcome to my world!!) - about bl**dy time!! Next time he wants to do something that is unpaid I shall remind him of that and I think I shall say no!!
Since I got home about an hour ago I have taken DS's stuff to him at his Dad's but I have just spent about 1/4 hour googling 'jobs' and found loads of websites which I have saved as favourites in a newly created folder called, you guessed it, 'jobs'! This should save some money on newspapers.
OH is due back home in about 1/2 hour so I have had my thinking cap on about what to do for dinner - I have had a long day myself and can't be bothered to do anything that requires too much effort! I think I will make up a packet pasta and sauce mix that I bought at Aldi the other day (39p I think) and do sausages to go with it - Linda Mac ones for me, cheap Iceland ones for OH.
Ooh Holby's on now - woohoo! I can multitask as well as anyone so I can Holby, MSE and probably Facebook as well at the same time!
Bye for now!PigginSkint's debt free diary
