Retired parents need to raise capital £25-30k for some building repairs on home but don't like idea of equity release products.
Anyone know of lenders or brokers who will offer mortgage product based on home worth £300k, income circa £25k. Ideally looking for 20yr mortgage interest only principal sum repaid on 2nd death? So far only Nationwide at std variable prepared to make offer.
