Was in Asda, Watford earlier this afternoon. Announcement over the tannoy whole salmon £4 per kg. I suspect they are doing the same as last time, ie they won't do anything to it - you get a whole salmon, head, tail and bones.

I would have been tempted, but for the fact I had already bought fillets from Morrison. They had a couple of boxes at the fish counter of decent size portions so I bought some of these. They worked out at about £1.10 per portion.

Hope this helps.

Morrisons salmon is a better deal if you don't want the whole fish, by the time the salmon is filleted you only end up with just over half that you each anyway (unless you make soup).

Saw this in the Paper and went along yesterday - great deal!

We had pan fried samlon with fluffy jacket potato for dinner, the dogs got some trimmings and the rest has made the base for a lovely fish soup for the weekend :D.

Got a half price leg of lamb from sainsbugs as well, so we are eating well this easter...
