Lidl - tell me about this shop please

the weekly offers at lidl, when are they put out in the shop? are they there when the doors open, or do the staff put them our during the day? - its just that i see offers, and then can never find them instore, so wondered if they were sold out by the time i got there

also they have some cycling gear available from easter monday - are lidl open then?

Lidl's cycling gear is very good for the money

I think it's usually from when the doors open.

Because when they do the PCs sometimes people camp out overnight to get one!

Maybe I'm thinking of Aldi in the PC case, but I'm sure Lidl are the same.

The stuff is put out for opening time. You need to get there early for some things - others not.

Our local Lidl is open Monday.

BTW - Check out their website, tells you what the specials are and when they are available.

You get all the Bootfair crowd down there for the good bargains - they mark it up and sell it on. You have to be quick.

I worked for Lidl last summer during my summer hols from Uni. In the store I was in, we used to put the items in the baskets the night before. Then we'd wheel them out just after closing ready for the next day.

Then the next day we'd watch all the customers fight (literally sometimes) for the items. I heard that some OAPs used to ram the trolleys into each other to get near the "good" items. Mad.
