Best place to make money from old toner cartridges?

Options
I did post this on another board, but then realised this one is probably more appropriate.

I've got a bunch of empty toner cartridges (10 to 15 or so, mostly HP) that I want to get some money back from. Can anyone recommend a company that will pay a good price for them and pick them up?

And no, I'm not donating them to charity - I need the money myself.

There must be more ideas of what to do with your empty cartridges. Tesco points sounds like a good option 100points = £4 in deal vouchers :-)

Tesco only take certain cartridges, there is a list here:

they usually come with a prepaid envelope that you can send them to recycling in. they dont pay you for it but good for the environment!

I sent 16 cartridges to Tesco, and received nothing. After checking their list it's because they don't accept Epson. How annoying. I have already contacted them to ask what has happened and they are sending me 4 letters to fill in apparently - they didn't ask what type of cartridge I had sent them. Still living in hope of getting my points!!!
  • boots gives you advantage card points!
  • Here is a link to a company that pay money for un-used toners (not recycling used cartridges). Fill out the form and they send to an offer to buy them from you, and collect free of charge too! So if you have redundent cartridges laying around at home or work, get some cash back for them!
