I'm not familiar with these particular products but I am familiar with wet heating systems and how they work. First of all, how is your system set up at present? Do you have the minimum recommeded controls in place; time clock, roomstat, cylinder stat, radiator valves. If not then those should be your priority.

If you do have those in place then second priority is to make sure it is set up correctly and set for the most efficient operation. That means room stat and cylinder stats in the correct position/location and set at correct temps. Also time clock set for minimum operation to achieve the desired environment.

If those things are right I have serious doubts that another layer of control could add anything like a 20% saving. Think about it; if everything is working on the minimum energy for a given comfort level than how likely is it you could reduce energy by 20% and maintain the same level? I think the answer is not likely.

looks like it turns the boiler on/off relative to flow/return temp.
